New Home- North Lakes
Return

This brief was to compliment a newly designed contemporary home. The clients wanted a tropical feel, together with a working vegetable and herb patch to incorporate fruit trees also.

A 'produce patch' was created at the rear of the garden to incorporate perennial and annual vegetables and herbs. Numerous tropical plants were used to create privacy from neighbours and fragrant low growing plants were used in the front garden so the view to the lake was not compromised.

Magnolia 'Little Gem' were used at the front entry of the home to add impact. From the boardwalk entry to the front door, cardboard palms, ferns and bromeliads can be admired around the pond and along the running creek flowing through the middle of the home to an eco-pond outside.
